Authorization to Drive a Vehicle

In Algeria, mandatory car insurance (ordinance n° 74-15) covers the vehicle regardless of who is driving it; this authorization remains useful, however, to justify a third party's use of the vehicle during a road check, since the registration card isn't changed.
I, the undersigned , holder of national identity card no. , in my capacity as the owner of the vehicle registered under plate number , hereby authorize Mr./ Ms. , holder of driving license no. , to drive the above-mentioned vehicle starting .
This authorization is issued to be presented, if requested, to police or insurance authorities; the owner remains responsible for the vehicle throughout the validity of this authorization.
