Privacy policy
Without an account
What you type passes through our servers while the file is produced and does not stay there: the document is not saved.
A draft may stay in your browser, on this device only, so you don’t have to retype everything. It is not sent to us. You can clear it from the form. On a shared computer, remember to do so.
A file imported into the Studio is read on your device. The document’s content reaches our servers only when you download, to produce the file.
With an account
Sign-in goes through Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture.
We keep what you choose to add: phone, date of birth, status, school or company, preferred language, signature, stamp, logos, personal templates, folders, shares and feedback.
A document is saved only if you tick the save option. We then keep the file and the form details, including those of other people you entered. Only enter what you are entitled to use.
How we use it
This data is used to generate your documents, keep them available to you and run your account. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your documents, signature and stamp are private and tied to your account. If you share a document or template, the person you choose gets access after accepting.
Chahadti admins can see the list of accounts (name, email, plan, status, organization), the type and date of saved documents, and feedback sent. The admin interface does not display the content of your documents.
Where your data is stored
Your data is hosted by Supabase (database and files) and Vercel (website and document generation), outside Algeria. These providers keep technical logs that may include your IP address. We also use the IP address for a few moments to limit abuse.
How long
Your data stays on your account until you delete it. There is no automatic deletion.
When you delete a document or your account, the data is erased from our service. Backup copies at our providers may remain for a limited time.
Advertising
The site loads the Google AdSense script and some pages may show ads. Google and its partners may therefore receive your IP address and use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this or other sites, even on a page with no visible ad. The content of your documents is not passed to them.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more: how Google uses advertising cookies.
Your rights
From your account you can view, edit or delete your documents, signature and stamp, and delete your account yourself (Profile, Delete account). Everything is then erased: profile, documents, templates, folders, shares and feedback.
Algerian Law No. 18-07 of June 10, 2018 gives you rights of access, rectification and objection, among others. To use them, write to chahadti.dz@gmail.com. You can also contact the national data protection authority (ANPDP).
