Is Chahadti free?
Yes. Every template and the Studio are free. There is no subscription and no hidden fee.
Do I need an account?
No. You can fill in a template and download the document without an account. A Google account only keeps a history of your documents, a saved signature and your own templates.
Is my information stored?
Without an account, what you type passes through our servers to produce the file and is not saved there. A draft may stay in your browser so you don’t have to retype everything; you can clear it at any time. With an account, only the documents you choose to save are kept. Details in the privacy policy.
Is the generated document legally valid?
A document draws its value from its signature and, depending on the case, the stamp or the legalization of the signature. Chahadti writes the text with the details usually required. It does not replace a notary, a lawyer or a document issued by an administration, and does not guarantee that an organization will accept it.
Where do I get my signature legalized?
In Algeria, signatures are usually legalized at the civil registry office of the town hall (APC): you sign in front of the officer, with your ID. Some documents, such as a property sale, require a notarial deed. Our guides explain what applies to each document.
In which languages can I generate a document?
In Arabic and French for most templates. A few documents also exist in English. Visa documents come in the language useful for the destination (French, English, Italian, German), with no Arabic version. Each page shows the available languages.
Which file formats are available?
PDF (best for printing), PNG image and Word (.docx) to edit the text. In the studio, stamps, logos and shapes placed freely are kept in the PDF and the image.
A template contains a mistake, what should I do?
Write to us from the contact page with the template name, the language and the sentence concerned. We will fix it.
